Information and Sign-up - FFY2018 Grants

Dear Highway Safety Community,

On behalf of Scott Davidson, Chief of the Governor’s Highway Safety Program, I am pleased to announce this Request for Proposal (RFP) for Federal Fiscal Year (FFY) 2018 traffic safety funds from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.  Attached, you will find one detailed RFP from VTrans that outlines six funding opportunities.

Please note that the complete RFP includes sign up information for one of our required workshops across the state.  We will not be offering webinars this year, as applications for GHSP funds will be submitted through a “Grant Electronic Application and Reporting System” (GEARS).   As a result, we highly recommend that both the project director and a fiscal agent attend the same workshop.   In preparation for the workshop, please bring an electronic copy of your prior FFY application, a laptop computer with WIFI capability and any other pertinent grant information such as relevant data, quarterly reports, logic model (education grants) etc.

We will also be posting this complete RFP on our website (http://ghsp.vermont.gov/) and will disseminate this to the following email groups:

  • Chiefs and Sheriffs Email Group
  • Education and TRCC Email Groups

Thank you,
GHSP Staff
