Dear Highway Safety Community,
On behalf of Allison Laflamme, Administrator of the State Highway Safety Office, we are pleased to announce the FFY2025 Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) for traffic safety funds from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. The NOFO and the FFY 2025 Admin Letter can be found below. The NOFO includes a reminder about the required trainings for next FFY. Please note: the SHSO is launching a new version of IGX (the online grant system) this year, so online processes will be different.
The grant trainings are mandatory and will be held in-person only. We recommend that the Project Director, Financial Officer, and Authorizing Official for each applying agency attend, but at least one person must attend. If someone from your agency does not attend a training, your agency will not be able to apply for a grant. Each agency need only attend ONE training session – no need to sign up for multiple sessions. Please sign up for the training here.
The attached SHSO Proposal Guide includes all the information on how to apply. Applications must be submitted by the applicant’s Authorizing Official in GEARS no later than 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, May 15th, 2024.
